Q: How much does a commission cost?
A: That depends on the project! Illustrated commissions are based on page count, detail, and number of steps such as ink and colour. Animated commissions are $2 per finished frame + storyboard if requested. Priority pricing may apply depending on your timeline.
Q: How long does a commission take?
A: That is up to you! However, the timeframe of a project can affect the price or quality of the final product. Illustrated commissions may take up to one week with limited consultation, whereas animation may take one week per 10 seconds at priority pricing.
Q: Will you style match?
A: I will style match, as long as the artist whose style I am referencing is also in agreement. I will not create a verbatim copy of another artist's style unless they are already part of your project. I am happy to use reference from other media and apply it to my style.
Q: When and how can I pay you?
A: The easiest method of payment for MLE. is Interac E-transfer. Depending on your project, you may prefer to pay half of the total quoted price on the first day of the project and half upon delivery, or to pay by phase such as storyboard, pencil animation, linework, colour, and compositing. Invoices will be provided according to your custom payment plan.
